Temple has large carved granite pillars on entrance. About Ananthanatha Swamy Jain TempleSri Ananthanatha Swami temple  is a famous Jain Temple.The temple is dedicated to Sri Ananthanatha Swami and is also called as Tipu’s fort. According to legends, Tipu had used this place to store the ammunition and so it’s known as Sultan’s Battery. The temple place was built during 13th century and was the hub of commercial activities.There is a large carved granite pillar in the outer entrance of the temple. There is intricately carved panels in the door. This Jain Temple is constructed based on the Dravidian Style. The carvings on the stupa are painted colorfully. And it is in Pyramid Shape where the Lord Mahavir is carved on the Top of the Pyramid. There are lot of other Jain idols and symbols on the small steps of the Temple's Main Shrine.This Jain Temple is also called as "Puliyarmala Jain Temple" as it is in the hill lock of Puliar Mala.
