This is an ancient shrine of which it is difficult to ascertain the antiquity. It is said that this pleasing idol of Sri Shanthinath Bhagwan was ceremonially installed by Sri Samprati raja. Dhwaja functions is held every year on Magsar Sukla Panchami, during which thousands of devotees gather here and offer their prayers and worship.
