On the seat of the Presiding Deity, there is an inscription dated Vikram year 1132. This shows that the shrine belongs to an earlier period. On one of the pillars, there is an inscription dated Falgun Sukla 10 in Vikram year 1132. From stone inscriptions, indications are available that renovations of the temple were carried out in Vikram years 1764 and 1903.Every year on Magsar Sukla 11, a flag is hoisted on the mast of the temple Sikhar.There is no other temple in the immediate vicinity.
