In Digambara Jainism, Michhami Dukkadam is spoken on Kshamavani Parva (the Forgiveness Day), which is the first day of Ashvin Krishna Paksha in the Digambara calendar. The focus of this day is forgiveness, and after pratikraman people say Michhami Dukkadam to seek forgiveness and grant it in return. In 2025, the Digambara Kshamavani is observed on August 24, 2025.
