Who was the first thirthankar
The first Tirthankar is Rishabhanatha, also known as Adinath. He is regarded as the founder of Jainism in the current cosmic cycle and laid down the basic code of conduct for Jain livelihood and spirituality. In both Digambar and Shwetambar traditions, he is honored as the first Tirthankar, with only small differences in details of legend and lineage.
