Yugalik (युगलिक) means a pair of male and female twins. It is a Jain cosmological term used to describe a special twin form of living beings.

• In early ages (arias) of the Jain time-cycle, there are beings called yugalikas who are twins—one boy and one girl—who stay together for long lives.
• Their lifespans are very long, and they usually have mild karmic effects. In the later part of their life, the relationship shifts more toward a married pair, and they procreate to produce another set of yugaliks.
