08/09/2025 (8 September 2025) is a special day in Jainism, but its significance depends on the Jain tradition you follow.

• For Digambar Jains: This date is Kshamavani (the day of forgiveness). It falls after the Das Lakshan Parva, which ends on 7 September 2025, and is observed as the forgiveness day.
• For Shwetambar Jains: The forgiveness day they observe around this period is Samvatsari, but in 2025 Samvatsari falls on 28 August, not 8 September.

So, if you follow Digambar traditions, 8 September 2025 is a significant day of forgiving and seeking pardon (Kshamavani). If you follow Shwetambar traditions, their main forgiveness day for Paryushan in 2025 has already passed earlier in August.
