Parshwanath Bhagwan had different counts of principal disciples in different Jain traditions:

• Śvetāmbara (Kalpa Sutra): eight Ganadharas (chief monks) led by Shubhdatta. ( jainknowledge.com)
• Digambara: ten Ganadharas. ( jainmuseum.com)

So, depending on tradition, the number is either eight or ten. You can read more here and here
