In Jainism, there is a heaven (devaloka) where beings enjoy the results of good karma. A lion, being a jiva (soul) with karma, can in principle be reborn in a heavenly realm if its karma is auspicious enough. So, yes: a lion could be born into a heavenly realm in a future birth, but that stay would be temporary—the soul remains in samsara until it sheds all karma and attains moksha (liberation).
