In Jainism, the first Tirthankara who attained moksha is Rishabhanatha, also known as Adinath. He is traditionally regarded as the first soul to attain full liberation (moksha) in this cosmic time cycle. Both Digambara and Śvetāmbara traditions affirm his status as the first Tirthankara and that he achieved moksha.
