Affirmation mantra before going for exam
Here are simple Jain-inspired affirmation mantras you can say before an exam. They focus on calmness, right understanding, honest effort, and compassion.
Option 1 — English (calm and focused)
- I approach this exam with a calm mind, right understanding, and honest effort. I will focus, recall what I studied, and do my best with non-harm to all.
Option 2 — English (discipline and restraint)
- May I maintain equanimity, concentration, and truthful effort. May my thoughts be pure, my actions gentle, and my answers sincere.
Option 3 — Hindi transliteration (soft and clear)
- Main is pariksha ko shant man se, sahi samajh se, aur imandaar mehnat se face karta/karti hoon. Main kendrit rahunga/rahungi, yaad-daasht par bharosa karunga/karungi, aur sabhi ko dukh na pahunchane ki bhavna ke saath apna best dunga/dungi.
Tips to use them
- Take a few deep breaths before starting to speak or write your answers.
- Repeat the chosen affirmation 2–3 times slowly, then proceed with the exam.
- If you feel anxious, quietly recite a shorter version: “Shanti, samyak jnana, samyak dharana.”
If you’d like, I can tailor a version to your language preference (Hindi, English, or a simple transliteration) or keep it even shorter.
