Verse 3 of Alochana Path (Alochana Paath)

इक बे ते चउ इंद्री वा, मनरहित-सहित जे जीवा। तिनकी नहिं करुणा धारी, निरदय ह्वै घात विचारी॥

Meaning (arth)

• This line speaks about beings who have the five senses with a mind that is not mindful. Such beings are described as lacking compassion, heartless, and cruel in their thoughts and actions.
• It highlights the contrast between sensitive life and the absence of karuṇā (compassion) in conduct and inner intention.
