Alochana Path verse 5

Original text ( Devanagari ): तिनकी कहुँ कोलों कहानी, तुम जानत केवलज्ञानी॥ ५॥

Meaning (arth) in Jain tradition:

• The speaker acknowledges that any account or story about the Jinas (the enlightened ones) is something only the omniscient knows completely.
• It emphasizes humility: while humans may try to describe or judge, the true, complete understanding belongs to the Jinas themselves.
• It keeps the focus on dependence on the enlightened, rather than on one’s own limited viewpoint.

Notes:

• There can be small wording differences between Digambar and Shwetambar recensions, but the core idea is the same: confessing faults, seeking guidance, and renewing resolve under the auspices of the Jinas.
