Jains do not practice Shraddh as it is done in Hindu traditions. There is no Pitru Paksha or formal ancestor‑worship ritual in Jain dharma.
Ancestors are respected by living a virtuous life and adhering to right conduct, not by performing ritual offerings for them.
This view is shared across both Digambar and Śvetāmbara traditions; they focus on personal karma, self-discipline, and compassion rather than prescribed Shraddh rites.
After death, the soul’s journey is understood through karma, and relatives honor the deceased by practicing peace, charity, and spiritual upliftment in memory of the loved one, not by Shraddh ceremonies.
