In Jainism, Tirthankaras are not “nature.” They are jiva (souls) who have freed themselves from karma and attained kevala jnana (perfect knowledge). Nature (pradhana of Jainism) consists of jiva (souls) and ajiva (non-living matter). Tirthankaras belong to the category of liberated souls, and after enlightenment they reside in Siddhashila, beyond the worldly nature.

So, Tirthankaras are not parts of nature, nor are nature and Tirthankaras the same; they are distinct: Tirthankaras are liberated souls who once lived in the world like others, but are no longer bound by nature’s karmic chain.
