I want an example for 9 year old to explain how that the jineshwars teaching remain the same where guru mat say it differently as per the need of the time

Here’s a simple way to explain it to a 9-year-old:

    • Think of a treasure map. The treasure is the same no matter who reads it.
    • Different gurus (teachers) might tell the directions a little differently, or use different words, but they’re all pointing to the same treasure.

    Example you can use:

    • In one class, the guru might say, “Walk straight, turn left at the big banyan tree, and you’ll reach the temple.”
    • In another class, the guru might say, “Follow the same path, but a little sooner turn right at the tall tree.”
    • Both are telling you the same thing: go to the same temple and find the treasure. The directions look different, but the goal is the same.

How Jineshwar’s teaching stays the same, even if words change:

    • Core goal: Moksha (liberation) and living with nonviolence, truth, purity, and self-control.
    • How it’s shown (the different words you hear):
    - A teacher might explain the same idea using modern examples (like helping someone in trouble, speaking truth kindly, or not wasting water). - Another teacher might use older stories or traditional terms.
    • But the essential idea doesn’t change: follow right belief, right knowledge, and right conduct to reach the same goal.

    A kid-friendly summary:

    • The path is the same, even if the “how we talk about it” changes with time.
    • It’s like saying the same rule of road in different languages: the rule is the same, the words differ.

Note for adults guiding this explanation:

    • There are small differences in how Digambar and Shwetambar traditions describe some practices, but the main teaching—jiva’s liberation through right belief, right knowledge, and right conduct—remains the same.
    • You can emphasize that respect for all teachers who aim to help others walk this path is part of the Jain spirit of harmony.
