The first (central) dvip is Jambudvipa (also called Jambudweep in many texts).

• This is the main earthly continent in Jain cosmology, with Mount Meru at its center.
• Digambar and Śvetāmbara traditions both affirm Jambudvipa as the central land where humans live; minor differences may appear in names or details of its regions, but the core idea remains the same.
