Jain belongs to which gotra
In Jainism, there isn’t a universal or doctrinal “gotra” system like in some other traditions. Jains do not trace spiritual lineage through a gotra in the way Hindu communities often do. Instead, Jain lineage is understood in terms of the guru-disciple tradition, and the succession of Tirthankaras and monks within the Digambar and Shwetambar traditions. Some families may have clan-like identifiers or surnames, but these are social or regional names rather than a formal religious gotra.
If you’d like a deeper, tradition-specific explanation (Digambar vs. Shwetambar perspectives), I can summarize that too.
