The 6th Tirthankar in Jainism is Shri Padmaprabha Swami.

Story of Padmaprabha Swami:

Padmaprabha Swami was born in the city of Kaushambi to King Shridhar and Queen Susima of the Ikshvaku dynasty. According to Jain tradition, his birth was marked by auspicious signs, including the appearance of a red lotus (Padma) in the queen's dreams, which is why he was named Padmaprabha (meaning "luster of the lotus").

He lived a princely and luxurious life but, inspired by the teachings of previous Tirthankaras, he developed detachment towards worldly pleasures. At the age of 16, he renounced his kingdom and adopted the life of an ascetic to seek spiritual liberation.

After years of deep meditation and austerities, Padmaprabha Swami attained Kevala Jnana (omniscience) under a banyan tree. He then spent the rest of his life preaching the path of non-violence (ahimsa), truth, and self-discipline, guiding countless souls towards liberation.

He is said to have had 1,000 monks and 1,000 nuns in his sangha (spiritual community). Padmaprabha Swami attained moksha (liberation) at Shikharji (Sammed Shikhar), the most revered pilgrimage site for Jains.
