Name tirthankars of next cosmic cycle
In Jain cosmology, each half-cycle (utsarpini = ascending, and avasarpiṇī = descending) has 24 Tirthankaras. The “next cosmic cycle” refers to the coming utsarpini, in which 24 new Tirthankaras are born. The names vary slightly between Digambar and Śvetāmbara traditions, but the commonly cited lineup is:
- Rishabhanatha (Adinath)
- Ajitnath
- Sambhavanath
- Abhinandanath
- Sumatinath
