Veer Samvat is another name people use for Vikram Samvat (the Jain/Indian solar-lunar calendar). In October 2025, the Vikram Samvat year transitions across the end of one year and the start of the next.

• The new Vikram Samvat year begins around October 22, 2025. So, Oct 2025 falls in Vikram Samvat 2082 starting from that date (2081 is the ending part of the previous year).
• Before Oct 22, 2025, it is Vikram Samvat 2081; from Oct 22 onward, Vikram Samvat 2082 is in effect.
• Note: exact day-by-day dates of festivals can vary a little by local sangh calendars.
