• The majority (about 20) of the Tirthankaras are believed to have attained moksha at Mount Shikharji (Sammed Shikharji) in Jharkhand.
• The four that are commonly exception cases with different locations are:

- Rishabhanatha (Adinath) – Moksha at Mount Ashtapada (often identified with Kailash region). - Neminatha – Moksha at Mount Girnar, Gujarat. - Vasupujya – Moksha at Champapuri (near present-day Bihar). - Mahavira – Moksha at Pavapuri (near Patna, Bihar).

Notes:

• These placements come from traditional Jain lists; some minor variations can appear between Digambara and Śvetāmbara traditions, but the general pattern (Shikharji for most, with the four exceptions) is widely held.
