Pundrik Swami in Palitana: Pundarik Swami (also called Pundarikgiri) is the Ganadhara of Rishabhanatha and is traditionally linked to Shatrunjaya Palitana. It is believed that Pundarik Swami attained moksha on this hill, and there are temples and shrines related to him at Palitana and along the Shatrunjaya ascent. The hill itself has long been identified by Jains as the sacred site associated with Pundarik Swami, and Palitana is often described as Pundarikgiri in Jain texts.
