Who founded Jainism
Jainism does not have a single human founder. According to Jain tradition, it is an eternal religion (Sanatan Dharma) without a beginning or end. However, in the current time cycle, Lord Rishabhanatha (also known as Adinath) is recognized as the first Tirthankara (spiritual teacher) of the present age. The 24th and last Tirthankara of this era is Lord Mahavira, who lived in the 6th century BCE and is often regarded as a key historical figure in the propagation and organization of Jainism.
