The 31st tonk (Toonk) on Shikharji is the Parshvanath tonk. In this tonk there are charan replicas (footprints) of Bhagwan Parshvanath, carved in black marble, and not a separate full idol statue. This tonk is approached as a temple site with footprints rather than a standing idol. Both Digambar and Śvētāmbara Jains honor and worship at Shikharji’s tonks, and the 31st tonk is recognized for Parshvanath’s nirvana site, with puja conducted at the temple there. So, the form you’ll encounter at the 31st tonk is footprints of Parshvanath, not a Digambar- or Śvētāmbara-specific idol.
