How many samayeeks can we do at a time?
In Jain practice, a samayik is one standard session of 48 minutes. It is meant to be done as a single focused period.
- You do one samayik at a time. There isn’t a concept of doing multiple samayeeks simultaneously.
- If you miss a session, you can do another samayik later the same day, but it remains a single, separate 48‑minute session each time you undertake it.
So, at a time, you should have one samayik in progress. If you want to do more than one in a day, you would simply start another 48‑minute samayik after finishing the first.
