Marichi, the son of Bharat, initially embraced the Jain monk’s life and wore the traditional ascetic vesh. His vesh described in Jain stories includes:

• tridandi robe (three-fold monk’s robe)
• pedaled sandals (padukas)
• an umbrella
• a very modest bhikshu bath (bath with only a little water)

These elements show his early ascetic attire and simpleness as a seeker before later events in his life. There are variations in retellings between Digambar and Shwetambar traditions, but the core description of the ascetic dress remains consistent in Jain narratives. You can read more here
