Note: The Namokkar (Namokar, Navkar) mantra is not a single sutra from the Jain Agamas. It is a foundational prayer, recited widely, and its lines are the traditional formulae used in daily Jain worship. Below is the commonly recited text, with the standard meaning. • Namo Arihantanam
• Namo Siddhanam
• Namo Ayariyanam
• Namo Uvajjhayanam
• Namo Loe Savva Sahunam
• Eso Pancha Namokkaro
• Savva Pāvappanasano

• Padhamam Havai Mangalam

Meaning (arth) in brief:

• I bow to the Arihants (liberated conquerors of passions)
• I bow to the Siddhas (liberated beings)
• I bow to the Acha ryas (spiritual teachers)
• I bow to the Upadhyayas (preceptors)
• I bow to all Sadhus (monks and nuns)
• This fivefold salutation destroys all sins
• Among all auspicious things, it is the most auspicious
