Jambudweep is flat
In Jain cosmology, Jambudweep (Jambudvipa) is not simply a flat plain. It is described as a vast continent with distinctive topography: there are cosmic mountains (including Meru at the axis), rivers, forests, and a system of varshas (zones or regions) laid out in a structured geography. The exact layout and emphasis can differ between Digambara and Śvetāmbara texts, but the core idea is a well-ordered, multi-tiered land rather than a completely flat, featureless plane.
