How does Jainism teach how to increase intuition?
Jainism does not teach “intuition” as a separate magical skill. It teaches developing clear, correct perception and right understanding through purification of the self and disciplined practice. Here is the simple Jain view:
- Core aim: Purify the soul by removing karma so that true knowledge and right conduct can shine. This is expressed in the three jewels: samyak darśana (right faith/perception), samyak jñāna (right knowledge), and samyak cāritra (right conduct). When the mind is clarified, discrimination and insight naturally increase.

- Practical takeaway: cultivate equanimity, honest self-examination, ethical living, and regular spiritual practices. As your karmic load lightens and your mind becomes steadier, your natural discernment and insight improve.
