According to Jainism, Rushabh Dev (also known as Rushabh Dada or Rishabhanatha), the first Tirthankara of the current time cycle (Avasarpini), had an extraordinarily long lifespan. Jain scriptures state that his lifespan was 8,400,000 purva years. In Jain time measurement, a purva is an extremely long period, far greater than ordinary years as we know them. Thus, Rushabh Dada's lifespan is considered to be almost immeasurable in human years, reflecting the vast timescales described in Jain cosmology.
