Rishabhanatha (Rushabhdev) is the first Tirthankara. In Jain tradition, his chief consort is usually named Sumangala. In some texts/traditions she is also called Sumati. There are minor variations between Śvetāmbara and Digambara sources regarding exact names and emphasis, but Sumangala/Sumati is the most commonly cited principal wife in many Jain narratives.
