Pundarik Swami is a revered figure in Jainism. He is described as the chief Ganadhara (principal disciple) of Rishabhanatha (Adinath), and is believed to have attained moksha (nirvana) on Shatrunjaya hill. Shatrunjaya is also known as Pundarikgiri because of his strong association there. There are small differences in how Digambar and Shwetambar traditions recount details, but the core idea is that Pundarik Swami was a foremost Jain teacher who attained liberation at Shatrunjaya.
