When panchandiya we speak??
Panchandiya Stotra is usually spoken at the start of a practice session or ritual.
- Primary use: recited at the beginning of a samayika (period of meditation) to honor the spiritual guru and recall the guru’s discipline and virtues.
- Also common as a remembrance of the teacher in daily puja or remembrance ceremonies.
- There are small wording differences between Digambar and Śvetambar traditions, but the core idea—honoring the guru and listing his/her virtues—remains the same.
