Simandhar swamy present status
According to Jainism, Simandhar Swamy is a living Tirthankara who currently resides in Mahavideh Kshetra, a different region of the universe described in Jain cosmology. He is believed to be actively preaching the Jain path (dharma) there. Devotees believe that although Simandhar Swamy is not present on our earth (Bharat Kshetra), he is accessible through deep devotion and meditative connection.
Jain scriptures mention that human beings from Bharat Kshetra, in the current time cycle, cannot attain liberation (moksha) directly from here, but they can be reborn in Mahavideh Kshetra, hear the teachings of a living Tirthankara like Simandhar Swamy, and attain liberation from there. Many Jains, especially in the Svetambara tradition, express devotion towards Simandhar Swamy and seek his spiritual guidance through prayers and worship.
In summary, Simandhar Swamy is considered to be currently alive, preaching, and leading souls to liberation in Mahavideh Kshetra according to Jain beliefs.
