Who is 24th tirthankar
The 24th Tirthankar in Jainism is Lord Mahavira. He is also known as Vardhamana Mahavira. He was born in 599 BCE at Kundagrama (near Vaishali in present-day Bihar, India) and attained nirvana in 527 BCE at Pavapuri. Lord Mahavira is regarded as the last Tirthankar of the present era (Avasarpini) and is a central figure in Jain teachings, having re-established and organized the Jain Sangha (community) and propagated the principles of ahimsa (non-violence), satya (truth), asteya (non-stealing), brahmacharya (celibacy), and aparigraha (non-possessiveness).
