According to Jainism, there is no specific scriptural meaning given for seeing a dead frog or dead lizard in a dream.

Jain Dharma speaks about dreams in a general way:

1. Dreams are nimitta (signals), not destiny

- Dreams arise from our past karmas, thoughts, fears, and impressions. - They are not a fixed prediction of the future.

- Seeing dead animals (frog, lizard, etc.) would be counted among ashubha-swapna (inauspicious/unpleasant dreams) in a general sense. - Such dreams usually reflect: - Inner restlessness or fear - Some himsa (violence)–related impressions in our mind or past actions - But Jainism does not say: “seeing dead frog = this exact event will happen.” It is only a warning sign to be more careful and purify ourselves.

- Do not be scared; remember: “I am a pure soul (śuddha ātmā).” - Recite Navkār Mantra with faith. - If possible, do Pratikraman that day – repent for any known or unknown himsa. - Strengthen ahimsā, gentle speech, and forgiveness in daily life. - Avoid unnecessary killing of insects/creatures very carefully.

1. Focus is on waking conduct, not on interpreting every dream

- Jainism teaches that real progress comes from: - Right faith, right knowledge, right conduct - Reducing anger, pride, deceit, greed - So use the dream only as a reminder: “I should live with more ahimsā and awareness.”
