Which tirthankar Bhagwan as per date of birth
In Jain tradition, the Tirthankar is not decided by your date of birth (like a zodiac sign).
Every soul can worship all 24 Tirthankar Bhagwans. Many families choose:
- Their kuldev / kuldevi (family deity), or
- A favorite Tirthankar (e.g. Mahavir Swami, Parshvanath, Neminath, Adinath),
Some local customs loosely “match” nakshatra or dates to a Tirthankar, but this is not from main Jain Agams; it is just social practice, not a scriptural rule.
If you tell me:
- Your tradition (Digambar / Shwetambar), and
- What exactly you want (e.g. “Which Tirthankar should I keep as my ishtadev?”),
I can suggest a simple, dharmic way to choose your ishta Tirthankar while keeping full respect to Jain scriptures.
