    Here are some simple “Jain WOW words” with very short meanings you can remember easily:

    1. Ahimsā (अहिंसा)

    – Non‑violence in thought, word and action towards every living being.

    1. Anekāntavād (अनेकान्तवाद)

    – “Many‑sided view” – understanding that truth has many angles, not just mine.

    1. Syādvāda (स्याद्वाद)

    – “In some respect it is…” – speaking carefully, accepting that our view is only partial.

    1. Aparigraha (अपरिग्रह)

    – Non‑possessiveness – living with less desire and less attachment.

    1. Samyag‑darśan (सम्यग्दर्शन)

    – Right faith / right vision – seeing the soul and truth correctly.

    1. Samyag‑jñān (सम्यग्ज्ञान)

    – Right knowledge – knowing reality as it is, without delusion.

    1. Samyag‑chāritra (सम्यक्चरित्र)

    – Right conduct – living a pure and disciplined life.

    1. Keval‑jñān (केवलज्ञान)

    – Infinite, perfect knowledge of an Arihant.

    1. Mokṣa (मोक्ष)

    – Complete liberation of the soul from all karmas.

    1. Jīva (जीव)

    – The living soul, conscious, eternal.

    1. Ajīva (अजीव)

    – Non‑living substances (matter, time, space, etc.).

    1. Tīrthaṅkar (तीर्थंकर)

    – The Ford‑maker – one who shows the path to liberation.

    1. Arihant (अरिहंत)

    – One who has destroyed inner enemies (anger, pride, deceit, greed).

    1. Siddha (सिद्ध)

    – Liberated soul, residing at the top of the universe.

    1. Michchhāmi Dukkaḍaṃ (मिच्छामि दुक्कडं)

    – “I ask forgiveness for any harm (done by me).”

    1. Jai Jinendra (जय जिनेन्द्र)

    – A respectful greeting: “Victory to the Jinas (Conquerors of passions).”
