Vahi Parshwanath is a very famous Jain Tirth (pilgrimage place) in Madhya Pradesh (MP).

• Location:

Village Vahi, near Pipaliya Mandi and Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. – About 5 km from Pipaliya Mandi railway station – About 16 km from Mandsaur

• Mulnayak (main idol):

– Bhagwan Vahi Parshwanath – Nearly 84 cm, black colour – Sitting in Padmasan – 7-hood serpent above the head – Below the idol are two tigers whose tails go from below the idol to above the hood – this special design is not seen in any other Jain idol.

• Samprati Raja’s temple:

The temple is believed to be built by King Samprati and is more than 1100 years old. It is a Shwetambar Jain tirth.

• Scriptural importance:

Vahi Parshwanath is mentioned in – “365 Shri Parshvajin Naammala” – “108 Naamgarbhit Shri Parshvanath Stavan”

• Facilities:

Near the temple there are dharamshalas, bhojanshala and upashraya for pilgrims.
