According to Jain tradition:

• The time gap between Lord Neminath (22nd Tirthankara) and Lord Parshwanath (23rd Tirthankara) is 84,000 years.
• More precisely, it is said that Parshwanath Bhagwan was born 84,000 years after the nirvana (moksha) of Neminath Bhagwan.
