According to popular beliefs come true, specific stanzas are miraculously effective for specific purposes of bhaktambar
According to Jain tradition and popular belief, yes — many devotees connect specific Bhaktāmar ślokas with specific “miraculous” purposes.
Based on the traditional list preserved in Jain sources, the commonly mentioned ones are:
- For acquisition of wealth (धन लाभ)
- 2nd śloka - 36th śloka
- For improving knowledge / studies (विद्या-वृद्धि)
- 6th śloka
- For improving speech / oratory (वाक्-शुद्धि, वक्तृत्व)
- 10th śloka
- For relief from disturbances, mental troubles, obstacles (क्लेश-शांति)
- 7th śloka
- For relief from diseases and pain (रोग निवारण)
- 17th śloka
- For cure from snake‑bite and other poison (विष नाश)
- 41st śloka
- For protection from black magic / evil spells (अभिचार से रक्षा)
- 9th śloka
- For fulfillment of necessities, job, work etc. (आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति)
- 19th śloka
All this is lok‑prasidha shraddhā (popular Jain belief), not a “deal” with Bhagwān. Jain siddhānt is very clear:
- Tirthankars do not change anyone’s karma.
- By śraddhā, śuddh bhāv, and regular sādhana, our own good karmas (puṇya) become active and give good results.
- The true purpose of Bhaktāmar is bhakti, shuddhi of mind, and path to moksha, not only material gains.
If you wish, you can daily recite the full Bhaktāmar, and add the specific śloka more times with focused bhāv for your need.
