In Girnar, the Digambar and Shvetambar Jain temples are quite close to each other. It depends where you are standing:

1. If you are at the base (Taleti)

At the starting point of the climb (Taleti):

• There is one Shvetambar derasar and one Digambar derasar at or near the base itself.
• They are on the same approach road to Girnar steps.
• You can simply walk from one to the other in a few minutes – ask any shopkeeper or local:

- Say: “Shvetambar derasar kya hai?” or “Digambar derasar kya hai?”

• No special vehicle is needed; you can walk easily.

2. If you are on the mountain (near main Shvetambar Neminath temple)

Most pilgrims first reach the large Shvetambar Neminath Bhagwan temple complex (big enclosed courtyard / “tunk”).

From there to Digambar temple:

1. Stand facing the main Shvetambar Neminath temple in the big compound.
2. Ask for “Digambar derasar / Rajul Gufa waalo raasto” – all locals, sevaks, and pujaris know it.
3. There is a side path with steps leading to the small Digambar temple and Rajul gufa area (on the same mountain, a short walk, not another full climb).
4. Walking time is usually 10–20 minutes, depending on your speed.

From Digambar temple back to Shvetambar:

• Just return on the same path of steps and you come back to the big Shvetambar complex.

3. Practical tips

• There are no vehicles between the temples on the steps – only walking or doli (palkhi).
• Signboards are mostly in Gujarati/Hindi, so the safest and quickest way is:

- Ask: “Neminath Shvetambar mandir ka raasta?” or - “Digambar Jain mandir ka raasta?”

• If you start your yatra from one side, you can take darshan of both sect temples in the same trip without coming back down to Junagadh.

This is a very small local distance; once you are at Girnar, any local person will guide you easily from Digambar to Shvetambar temple and back.
