yantra having with us can help me in protgection from enemy

    7 months ago 138

In Jainism, external yantra (physical diagrams, talismans, kavach, etc.) are not considered real protection from enemies.

True “raksha” in Jain dharma comes from:

    1. Your own karmas (past and present deeds)
    2. Your inner purity – non‑violence, truth, forgiveness, and fearlessness
    3. Right faith, right knowledge, right conduct

    1. What about yantra for enemy protection?

    • Jain shastras do not teach that keeping some metal plate / drawing / special symbol will magically stop enemies.
    • If someone is selling “Jain yantra for enemy” or “Jain kavach to destroy enemy”, that thinking is against ahimsa and against Jain spirit.
    • Wanting to “harm” or “crush” an enemy creates more paap karma, which in fact reduces your protection.

    2. What can you do in a Jain way?

Instead of yantra, Jain tradition suggests:

    a) Navkar (Namokar) Mantra

    • Daily chant Navkar Mantra with shraddha.
    • It destroys paap, calms the mind, and gives inner courage and protection by weakening bad karmas, not by attacking anyone.
    You can read more here

    b) Uvasaggaharam Stotra (for removal of troubles)

    • This is a stavan of Bhagwan Parshvanath traditionally used to reduce upsarg (troubles, obstacles).
    • Its aim is: remove difficulties, give shanti, and help the soul stay on the right path – never to take revenge.

    c) Practice kshama (forgiveness) and ahimsa

    • Pray: “May I not think bad, speak bad, or do bad even to my enemy.”
    • This changes your vibrations and slowly changes situations around you.
    • Many enemies become weak or go away when your anger and fear reduce.

    d) Practical steps (worldly level)

Jain dharma is not against reasonable self‑protection:
    • Stay alert and avoid conflict.
    • Take legal help or social support if someone is actually harming you.
    • But keep your mind non‑violent and avoid revengeful intentions.

    3. Essence in simple words

    • Yantra itself cannot protect you.
    • Pure bhav (intention), Navkar Mantra, Uvasaggaharam Stotra, and ahimsak living – these give real protection by changing your karmas and your inner strength.
    • Try to remove enmity, not the enemy. That is pure Jain path.
