“Shrenik Charitra” (the life‑story of Raja Shrenik) is not just one single book; this title has been used by more than one Jain author.

Most commonly, when Jains say “Shrenik Charitra”, they are referring to:

• Acharya / Bhattarak Shubhachandra (or Shubhchandrav / Shubhchandra Acharya)

A Digambar Jain acharya who wrote a detailed Shrenik Charitra, later translated into Hindi, Gujarati, etc. Many modern printed editions are based on his work.

There are also other works with a similar name, for example:

• Hemchandracharya (a great Shwetambar acharya) – a shorter “Shrenik Charitra” type text/biography is also attributed to him in some collections.
