In Jainism, there is no single creator of the universe.

• The universe (loka) has no beginning and no end. It is eternal.
• It is made of six eternal substances (dravya):

jiva (souls) and ajiva (matter, motion, rest, space, time). These keep changing by their own nature and by karma, not by a creator God.

• So Jain Dharma clearly says:

No god has created this world, and no god runs it or destroys it.

What about “God” in Jainism?

• Jains respect and worship Arihant and Siddha as “Bhagwan” (God).
• But they are not creators.

- Arihant = soul who has destroyed all ghati karmas and has perfect knowledge. - Siddha = fully liberated soul, beyond birth and death.

• They are perfect examples and teachers, not makers of the universe.

Both Digambar and Shwetambar traditions agree:

• No creator God of the universe.
• Liberated souls are supreme beings, worthy of worship, but not creators.
