What type of sukh is there in moksh
In moksh there is a very special kind of sukh (bliss), totally different from any happiness we know in this world.
In simple Jain terms:
- Anant Sukh – Infinite Bliss
- No dukh (sorrow), no fear, no tension, no disease, no anger, no jealousy. - The soul is always in natural, pure joy, which never reduces or changes.
- Not like worldly sukh
- Worldly sukh (money, food, relations, praise, heaven, etc.) is: - temporary - mixed with worry, fear of loss, and new bondage of karma - Moksh‑sukh is: - nitya (eternal) - ashariri (without body, so no physical pain/pleasure) - completely free from karma and rebirth.
- Four infinities in moksh
In moksh the soul has: - Anant Jnan – infinite knowledge - Anant Darshan – infinite perception - Anant Sukh – infinite bliss - Anant Virya – infinite spiritual energy
This anant sukh is not enjoyment through senses (eyes, tongue, etc.), but inner, pure, silent bliss of the siddha‑atma.
- Same for Digambar and Shwetambar
Both traditions accept that: - moksh means complete freedom from all karmas - the soul goes to Siddhshila and remains there forever in infinite knowledge and bliss. ( jainknowledge.com)
