Kyu couple sathe j karmai
Jainism teaches that all relationships, including those with a spouse (couple), are the result of past karmas. According to Jain philosophy, the bonds and associations we experience in this life, whether pleasant or unpleasant, are influenced by the karmic consequences of our previous actions (karma-bandh).
The soul attracts karmic particles through its actions, thoughts, and intentions. When the time is right, these karmas manifest as specific circumstances, including our relationships. Thus, being together as a couple is not accidental but is shaped by the karmas accumulated in past lives.
Jainism also emphasizes that while one cannot change the past karmas that have already begun to bear fruit (prarabdha karma), one can strive to minimize the attachment (raag) and aversion (dvesh) in relationships and practice equanimity (samata) and compassion (daya). This helps in reducing the influx of new karmas and progresses the soul towards liberation (moksha).
In summary, in Jainism, being with a specific person as a couple is a result of karmic connections from previous lives.
