In Jainism, there is no creator God of the universe or humans.

1. Universe has no creator

- The universe (loka) is beginningless (anādi) and endless (anant). - It was never created and will never be destroyed. - It always exists with: - Jīva (souls) - Ajīva (matter, space, time, motion, rest, etc.)

- Souls are also eternal. - They were not created by anyone. - They always existed and will always exist, taking different births according to their karmas.

1. How do humans come into existence then?

- A soul takes birth as a human when its karmas and conditions are suitable for a human body. - So, humans are not “created” by a God, but come through: - Natural cycle of birth and death (saṃsār) - Karma deciding the type of body, family, place, etc.

1. Is there God in Jainism?

- Jainism accepts God as a state, not as a creator. - A Siddha (liberated soul) is called Bhagwān – all-knowing, pure, free from karma – but does not create or control the universe.

So, according to Jain Dharma:

• No one created the universe.
• No one created the souls or humans.
• Everything is eternal and works according to its own nature and karma, without a creator.
