I can ask about my furture
In Jainism, the future is not fixed by anyone else – it is shaped mainly by your own karmas and present efforts.
You can ask about your future in a general, spiritual way (e.g., “How can I improve my future life?”), but I cannot predict specific events like an astrologer (e.g., “Will I get this job?”, “Whom will I marry?”). That kind of fortune‑telling is not part of Jain Dharma.
From a Jain viewpoint, your future becomes better when you:
- Avoid new bad karma
- Don’t hurt any living being (ahimsa). - Speak truthfully and gently. - Avoid anger, pride, deceit, greed.
- Reduce old karma
- Do pratikraman (repentance for mistakes). - Do jap/chanting (e.g., Navkar Mantra) with devotion. - Practice forgiveness and contentment.
- Build good qualities now
- Help others without expectation. - Keep good company (sat-sang). - Study Jain principles and try to live them.
If you tell me what area of your future you are worried about (study, career, marriage, peace of mind, spiritual progress), I can explain what Jainism says about improving that part of life through karma and right effort.
